Assistant Professor of Biology

The Biology Department at Carthage College invites applications for a three-year renewable, non-tenure track position in Biology with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology starting August 2019.  The successful candidate will teach courses in Anatomy and Physiology for pre-health students as well as other Biology courses as needed. 

The Carthage Biology Department is housed in a recently expanded and renovated science center that includes more than $1.5 million in instrument and equipment investments.  The College offers small class sizes and the opportunity to work closely with undergraduates in both the classroom and laboratory.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Applicants are required to have a PhD in Biology with a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
